Shortcrust pastry is an important recipe because it is used quite a lot.
You will need:
- 330g Plain flour
- 115g Butter, chilled
- 1 Sprinkle of salt
- Cold water
Method:
1. Mix to together with your fingertips, the flour, butter and salt until it looks like breadcrumbs.
2. Add in the water and mix until it forms a smooth dough.
And that’s it really, you can use it in many of my recipes, cooking time depends on the recipe you are using it in.
