Devilled Eggs and Herby Eggs

We made these for Ostara (one of the spring sabbats) The egg is a symbol of new beginnings and is an important part of the menu

Ingredients for the Devilled Eggs

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika

Ingredients for the Herby Eggs

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • handful of your favourite herb
  • salt and pepper

Devilled Eggs method

  • Hard boil your eggs allow them to cool
  • Peel the eggs and slice each one in half
  • Remove the yolks and put them in a bowl
  • Mash up the yolks with a fork, and add the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, curry powder, vinegar, salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Mash together
  • Pipe the yoke mixture into the empty white halves
  • Serve and enjoy!

Herby eggs method

  • Hard boil your eggs allow them to cool
  • Peel the eggs and slice each one in half
  • Remove the yolks and put them in a bowl
  • Mash up the yolks with a fork add the mayonnaise, garlic clove, herbs, and salt and pepper
  • Mash together
  • Pipe the yoke mixture into the empty white halves into little swirls
