Quiche Pastry Recipe

This pastry based off of the mini quiches we’ve done, but it can be used is many different ways, i just don’t know what to call this type of pastry.

  • 330g Plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 150ml Water
  • 115g  Butter

Method:

  1. In a heatproof bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt together the water and butter, then leave to cool for 5 minutes, make a well in the flour, then pour the liquid in, mix together with a silicone spatula, and leave to cool until you can safely touch it.
  3. Roll it out and bake according to your recipe. It will stay quite pale.
