This is basically a bite-sized cooked breakfast, the bread on the bottom turns into a sort of muffin when cooked.  Everyone likes them and I will definitely be doing them more often as a snack. This recipe does one so jst times to recipe by however many you want to make.

Breakfast Cups

You will need:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Piece of bacon,  cooked
  • 1 Round of bread
  • Bit of Grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bit of melted butter


1. Flatten bread with a rolling pin, then cut out 1 circle. Grease a muffin cake tray with the butter, place the bread inside and patch any holes.

2. Put a bit of cheese in the base, then put the bacon neatly inside, crack in the egg and sprinkle with a bit of cheese, add some salt and pepper if you want. Bake at gas mark 5/190*C/375*F until the egg is cooked through. Make sure to eat them warm, cos you cant reheat easily. Done!
